I am therapist who works with adults of all ages, who might experience depression, anxiety, panic attacks, parenting difficulties, relationship problems and many other unwanted thoughts and feelings.
I also work with children and young people and I have specific training for this age group.
Working with adults
I have a special interest in working with parents in learning new skills in managing parenting and the stress and overwhelming feelings that being a parent can bring. I have years of experience in helping parents to get back their happy and enjoyable child.
In my practice, I see many adults who still pay the price of past unhealthy relationships with parents. If you feel that feeling stuck, sad, unhappy, lacking self-esteem and confidence, always trying to please others, always getting into destructive relationships in your life, might be a consequence of relating to your parents or because of adverse childhood experiences, get in touch. Working with children
For many young children (4-11 years old), their language is play. Through play, children express their thoughts and feelings, make sense of their inner world and of what’s going on around them, they can learn to integrate, process and move on. I can enable your child to give a voice to powerful, and maybe destructive and unbearable feelings and thoughts. I work with children who experience outbursts of anger at home or at school, bullying, exam anxiety, sadness and low mood. Counselling can help your child to be more confident and resilient, improving on self-worth and self-esteem.
Working with teenagers
When working with teenagers, some of them will engage with art materials like paint or sand, but most of them they just want to talk and to be listened. Being a teenager presents with so many challenges – difficult relationships with parents and peers, exam stress and anxiety, pressure from school and social media, identity crisis. For a young person, therapy can be a safe heaven in a harsh world, where they feel that no one can understand them, and no one is in their corner. For a young person, to have someone in their corner, like a therapist, can make the difference between feeling all alone and overwhelmed by powerful, sometimes destructive, thoughts and feelings, and feeling contained, valued, supported and empowered to grow in a person that’s confident, resilient and brave to challenge himself/herself and the world around.

Experience and qualifications
I trained to work with adults at Enfield College, holding a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I have work experience in different settings, like NHS, addictions agencies and prisons. I helped people who struggle with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, parenting issues, relationship problems and many other unwanted thoughts and feelings.
I trained to work with children at The Institute for Arts in Therapy & Education, Holding a Diploma in Child Counselling. My training with children provided me with an understanding of different child development theories, neuroscience and the importance of play and secure relationships on the developing brain. I have work experience with children in school settings and community centres varying in age from 4-18 years old. I helped children who struggle with anger, academic performance, bullying, exam stress, anxiety and relationships with parents and peers.
I am a registered member with BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I work under the BACP Ethical Framework. You can rest assured that the services I offer meet the expected requirements for good practice.
At the heart of my work, is the relationship I can build with my clients. If we connect, then everything that follows it’s nothing short of extraordinary.
I offer a safe and confidential space where the client can explore past and present experiences, thoughts and feelings. Depending on the presenting issues, I can help you to manage better and to cope with whatever adversities come your way.
When there are no words to express your world, I can help you give a voice to those overwhelming and unbearable, painful thoughts and feelings using art interventions.
