I am a practising counsellor, process oriented facilitator and trainer in London. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, discrete and non-judgemental environment.

My approach is psychodynamic, and process oriented, meaning that I follow the flow of process. I love to study what is happening in the moment so as to uncover the gold hidden beneath the surface.

You may be feeling stuck in a current situation and seek a new direction in your relationships or in dealing with anxiety, disturbing body symptoms or a traumatic experience.

Process oriented therapy focusses on the study of the moment, and seeks to follow the flow to help you access more of yourself. In that it is a gift of personal development.

I aim to support you through important stages and transitions in life, to access your inherent and unique potential in the challenges you meet, to expand your sense of identity, and to be more confident.

My goal is to assist you in finding purpose, feeling engaged and to help you make life more meaningful, with the tools and skills to achieve what you want to achieve.

I have helped clients who have experienced difficulties with:

  • Abuse & Trauma
  • Addictions
  • Anger Management
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Bereavement & Loss
  • Chronic symptoms
  • Confidence, self worth, self esteem
  • Communication, social communication
  • Relationship and Family issues
  • Cross cultural relationships
  • Stress

About Me

I am passionate about learning: my own learning, helping others learn, and creating cultures of transformational learning.

I work part-time in private practice and spend the rest of my time running a charity, Act for Change, dedicated to research developing smart collaborative tools for individuals, teams and organisations wishing to unlock their own potential and interventions with young people and their families who have experienced trauma and/ or adversity in their lives, social communication, learning difficulties and loss.

Since 2007 I have been designing programmes and working with the challenges of trauma & loss and its effects on identity formation, learning and behaviour, relationships and achievement. I also work as a staff supervisor for teams with intensive emotional 1:1 work with children and young people and as a facilitator running support groups.

Training

I am committed to continuous professional development via supervision, reading and participating in clinical seminars.

I hold a LLB in Law from the London School of Economics, am a Fellow in Holocaust Education with the Imperial War Museum, a Fellow with the School of Social Enterprise, and I hold a certificate in Humanistic and integrative counselling. For the past 7 years I have been exploring Process Work more deeply. An approach to working with my clients with an emphasis on valuing all the parts of ourselves with awareness, curiosity and non-judgement. I use a process-oriented, integrative model.
